NIS And The Immune System
HOW TO LOOK AFTER YOUR IMMUNE SYSTEM AT HOME.
There is only so much we can do through our treatments. We tell you we only have to clear something once, only have to correct it once - yes this is very true! But we have to investigate into your lifestyle choices and behaviours when the same neural circuit needs correcting repetitively.
For example, look at our roads. If that same road needs constantly resealing, the council will look into why this is happening. Is it the speed of cars travelling on it? Is it the quality of the seal that was put down? Is it that there needs to be an adjustment as to how the traffic travels on this road? There are a lot of things that are done in our everyday lives, that are adjusted and adapted to make life easier and smoother.
Same thing with our neural circuits. Imagine the speed at which the cars travel, represents the atmospheric toxins you breathe in. Imagine the quality of the seal, represents what you put into your body, such as food. Imagine the changes to the road lay out, represents the fluid you put into your body. We as practitioners, use protocols to check all your roads, neural circuits and body system, to ensure full optimisation to your detoxing processes, adaptation and immune system. When we are constantly correcting your Immune System through your Thymus (the one that fights all the baddies), that tells us that there is a contributing factor as to why this circuit is constantly weak. What is happening in your daily life that is causing this breakdown? Is there something that is constantly making this weak?
The first step is to use our in treatment testing kits, to see if there is a product or substance, that is interfering with this circuit outside of our treatments. Once identified, we can correct to make sure that your brain identifies this and knows how to flush it out of your system correctly, to prevent any more damage.
But what can you do to help? If it is a food, we recommend you avoid consuming it for 2 weeks, while your brain gets used to being without it and adapts accordingly. If it is a toxin, we may need you to look at what products you are using in your everyday life. The two most common toxins we see in our treatments are make-up and cleaning products.
Make-Up
Are you someone that constantly struggles to maintain your weight? Or keep your appetite under control? Do you constantly feel bloated? This can be the toxic effects of your make up, affecting the Liver and the detoxing process in your body.
The liver assists in hormone control. It supports the immune system in flushing out the toxins and helps our digestive system break down foods. Make-up is absorbed in through the skin and, on average, can take up to 45 days to be 80-90% removed from the body. The other 20-10% may either never be removed, or need some intervention through detoxing regimes, to be removed from the body.
Make-up is not often thought as a toxin that affects us, but it does. What you put into your body affects it, and so does what we put on our body. In fragrance alone, there are over 500 chemicals. These are not just absorbed through your skin but are breathed in too! Make sure you check your make-up ingredients and find an alternative product for you.

Cleaning Products
Yes, we have to keep everything clean. Yes, we need to sanitise. But if everything is sparkly clean 24 - 7, what does your body have to adapt with? What does your body come into contact with, that it can learn from and learn to detox itself? A little bit of dirt never hurt anyone. But what I want to focus on, is what cleaning products do you use? The heavy stuff that tells you it can harm the animals, to keep away from children and don’t get on your skin? Yet people use this every day on their floors, surfaces and around their rooms. We have already talked about the different chemicals found in fragrances. But most cleaning products have fragrance in them as well. This can be very scary when you think about the limitations of how many heavy metals the body can detox. The body can become overloaded with toxins, purely due to you trying to keep everything clean.
What to look out for in your cleaning products:
-
Petrochemical solvents.
-
Ethoxylates.
-
Sulfates.
-
Synthetic fragrance.
-
Alcohol.
-
Artificial dyes.
-
Parabens.
-
Bleach
-
Ammonia
-
Perchloroethylene (PERC)
-
Formaldehyde
-
2-Butoxyethano
-
Ammonia
-
Sodium Hydroxide
-
Chlorine
-
Phthalates
-
Triclosan
Why look out for these? Many fragrances in products can interfere with endocrine receptors, causing multiple hormonal imbalance throughout the body. Bleach and PERC can cause dizziness, migraines, poor focus and poor coordination due to the inhalation through and affecting the cranial nerves in the body. Chemicals that act as a soap can promote the growth of bacteria, so if you breathe it in or touch it? You can bringing near drug-resistant bacteria into your body. Chemicals in our cleaning products can cause havoc in our livers, affecting our hormones, detoxing affects and bowel issues. Chlorine! Yes even the stuff that you swim in. This is a very high respiratory irritant that can also cause serious thyroid disruption. So not only can you breathe cleanly but you’re probably moody, and have a poor metabolism.
We can help your body detox from overload, to clear toxicities and boost your immune system, but you need to help yourself too. By ensuring that you are minimising your toxic load at home. If you would like to know more or learn the alternatives that we use in Neuro Touch and our lives…
