Recovery from ‘Food Coma’

So, I had this client who came to me purely because they could not control their appetite, meal portions and were so tired mentally and physically. She only wanted me to work on this one issue that she had - so this for me was a challenge in itself. Through Neuro Touch treatments we work with all the systems, glands, cranial nerves and more. So, to just focus on one issue can be challenge but we worked with it!

.

Through her treatments (over a course of 2 sessions) we found A LOT disconnected in her digestive system and through her thyroid with her Endocrine System - hormonal imbalance. See we can look into the digestive system and correct the digestive system to work optimally again BUT we also look at glands individually through over 200 different tests. So, let’s start with the Stomach!

.

The Stomach is essential in digesting our B Vitamins, assisting in our appetite, controlling what food starts to get digested and what is left in the stomach a little longer. It helps to control the sphincter to what gets expelled through the large intestines (through to the small intestines first) or what comes back out the mouth! Thought my client’s treatments we found that there was physiological stress around the stomach and the Cell Memory of the cellular functioning in the stomach could not be reset. So due to this overeating the original functioning settings had been changed, the stomach had stretched. Through physiological we were able to identify that the lack of meal control began after an emotional event that this client went through. So not only can we correct your issues, but we can look backwards to when they may have begun and what stress has caused this rewiring - or unwiring for that matter! When we go through emotional, physiological, pathological or neurological stresses - for a reason only due to stress our neural circuits can reset, and not to their originally functioning. But after stress they can start to operate differently to compensate for what is happening - without being able to reset back to default settings after the stress has passed. Especially in circumstances where our fight or flight mode may have been triggered and we are left with constantly being in this fight or flight as the brain and body as forgotten how to operate under normal situations and life.

.

After looking through the digestive tract and focusing on the stomach - remember this is the client’s brain showing me that we need to focus here, not on any other digestive glands, YET! We then went though and found multiple corrections around her thyroid. Mainly through the Hormonal System, Parasympathetic System and Endocrine System. Again, this showed links to stress and the body working in fight or flight. When this happens, we can constantly want to eat, to be able to store more food for energy, and so gaining weight can be consequence here. Because there is not real fear or threat, the body is just holding and storing things that it does not need because of the hormone response the thyroid taking over and increasing our appetite.

.

Another main correction that was needed through both the Thyroid and Stomach, as well as the digestive system was through Cell Memory. This is what we call the comparative memory engine of the brain. This little beauty acts as a reset button for all cell structures. The reset button to go back to original and optimal functioning. When this engine has been compromised, no glands, cranial nerves or other system and functions of the body can understand their original functioning and begin to ‘fluke it’. Although this is better than not working at all - it can cause more stress as areas are not working as they should be.

.

So, through the stomach, thyroid, digestive system and Cell Memory corrections we were able to get her brain and body working together to support her meal control, appetite and state of hunger! With a lot of success and the client even losing some of the weight she had gained since the physiological stress.
