Your Hormone Monster!

So what is your hormone monster?
A hormone monster can quite simply make you feel like you're a monster, that's it. Whether the monster is small, extra small, large or just a little bit bigger than the smaller ones!
Sometimes, you know you can be cranky, irritable, moody, and everything just seems to frustrate you and annoy you. This can be the little monster you know you'd love to get rid of, but for some reason, you can't. Sometimes a monster can look completely different to everyone else. You may not have that little annoying monster inside you that makes you cranky or frustrated or irritated. But instead, you constantly feel like your insides are being ripped out. You can experience bad chronic pain, this pain can then migrate through to your lower back. You can have trouble in your hips, and your pelvic ligaments and coming up into the top of your ribs as well.
So, monster quite literally is just a pain in our butt. It can cause pain, it can cause that crankiness as well.
The symptoms of a hormone monster can be poor bowel motions, pain with your bowel motions, or just random motions that make no sense at all, poop is not my favourite topic. So if you know something weirds going on then it can usually be a monster of some sort, or something to do with your gut.
But getting to your gut, a lot of your hormone control and understanding can also be coming from your gut, your gut acts like your body's second brain and this can support a lot of things throughout your body including your hormones.
We've got crankiness we've got pain. We've got bowel problems. What else can we add to this?
We can also add bladder conditions. Yes, your bladder can be affected by your hormones. Quite often. This can be from having children or from chronic illnesses. They also are hormone based and affect your bladder. You can be where you constantly feel like you have a urinary tract infection. And your bladder feels inflamed all the time. You can feel achy and heavy because of all the water retention and you constantly feel like you're dehydrated, no matter how much you drink any water. This can be affected by your hormones, aches, migraines and more!
I'd blame you hormone monster for just about anything that is going on throughout your body. But you want to actually make sure you understand what is going on with your hormones, whether these are direct symptoms from your hormones, and whether there is something you can do about it. So there is something you can do about it. We are creating things for you to be able to take home to work with yourself all day every day because we want you to be the best version of you.
So what else can you hormone monster be? It can be pain, it can be headaches, it can be migraines. It can be bladder, it can be bowel. It also can be chronic fatigue. You know when you wake up and you feel hungover and you didn't have a great night the night before? That can be coming from your hormones. Most often this hormone monster can quite simply be from a BIG imbalance which you can find out through blood tests with your doctor. It can be through symptoms such as all or some of the following. This can be endometriosis, adenomyosis, Interstitial Cystitis, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, chronic pain syndrome, chronic fatigue syndrome, Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, oh and Infertility. We can include, thyroid issues such as hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, Graves' disease, and so many more.
So why would I share all this hormone information that I'm about to give out to you? From the age of 12 I have suffered from Endometriosis and Adenomyosis, later on struggling with Interstitial Cystitis, Irritable Bowel syndrome and always been aware of my fertility levels.
At 15 I had my first keyhole surgery, (laparoscopic) and I've had multiple surgeries over the last 10 years for my endometriosis. You can see more of my story in our articles under Endometriosis.
I have the experience, I can also guarantee I have experienced what you are experiencing! So I want to and can show you and help you by working with your reproductive system, working with your hormonal system, working through correcting specific hormones in your body, helping you to reset your gut and giving you little brain tappies that can help you focus on working with your hormones, all day, every day. This is so that any of these symptoms that you may have or any of these illnesses or chronic diseases can be reduced significantly.
So if any of what I have talked about today, rings a bell to you or even slightly, watch this space, keep in contact and we will be able to help you
